A rare, beautifully preserved piece of Japanese domestic market (JDM) guitar history: the 1970s Fernandes GC-20 Grand Concert classical guitar. Before Fernandes became legendary worldwide for their electrics and Burny line, their early hand-made classical instruments were built by master Japanese workshops. Priced originally at 20,000 yen in the mid-1970s, the GC-20 delivers clear trebles, rich bass response, and the open resonance that only well-aged tonewoods provide.
