This 1969 Gibson Dove is in extremely clean condition. The build of this Dove features a Spruce top with cherry stained flamed Maple back and sides, making for brighter tone. This guitar features an adjustable tune-o-matic saddle mounted to the bridge as was standard for this model, with ornate appointments including pearl inlaid doves on the bridge corner, split parallelogram pearl fingerboard inlays, and an engraved dove motif on the pick guard. It is in very clean condition for an instrument of its age, with almost no signs of cosmetic wear. There is finish checking primarily on the sides which is difficult to photograph. The frets are original and show no signs of wear. It is difficult to detect any pickguard swirls, indicating that this instrument was hardly played. The neck is very straight, with nice medium low action. There are no signs of repair and to the best of our knowlwedge, it is all original. There is no swell or structural damage. It's original hard shell case is included.
