PRS CE 24 2018 - cherry sunburst with PRS Hardshell Case

Up for sale is a PRS CE 24 2018, with PRS hardshell case. It has a beautiful cherry-sunburst top. It’s a 25” scale, with a bolt on maple neck, with a wide-thin pattern. I’ve been playing guitar since 1968, and this the “fastest” neck I’ve ever played. Players with average to smaller hands will enjoy this neck as well. In my opinion, the biggest improvement is the 57/08 pickups that give the guitar more of a P.A.F. character sound. This is an all-American built guitar, from Stevensville, Maryland, USA. The only “SE” part is the steel bridge, which, in my opinion, is great. It has a pop-up tone knob for a coil tap, that’ll give you a single coil vibe.

Currently, the guitar is strung with 10-46 strings, but you can use anything you want, with the proper neck/truss rod adjustment. The action is set low, with .006 neck relief at the 6th fret low E string, and 12th fret action of 1/16th” on the bass side, and 3.5/64ths” on the treble side.

Check out the case candy in the photos. The original owner purchased this, at PRS in 2018, and included is an alternative truss rod cover that you can put on. Also included are the small allen keys; one for the bridge saddles and one for the trem arm tension adjustment. It uses the same 5/16th” truss rod wrench that Gibson uses (not included). (These are available from Amazon, Stew Mac, and the “big-box” guitar stores.)

There might be a small ding or two, but nothing to really talk about. There’s practically no fret wear. The trem is currently set up to float (using 3 springs). 2 extra springs are included if you want to “deck” the trem.

The tuners are top-locking. This guitar doesn’t come a smoke free household, however, when not being played, the guitar resides in its case, in a smoke-free room. The entire guitar and the exterior of the case have been cleaned with Naphtha.
