Rare 1985 Ibanez X Series DT380 Destroyer - Rising Sun graphics

Really hard to find guitar, I believe these were made only for the domestic Japanese market and for only 1984-1985. This one is a survivor and if you've seen others of this model many of them are in similiar or worse shape. These don't come up often and nearly all have been ridden hard. This one has a surprisingly nice fretboard with frets nearly in full life shape. Its been well conditioned and has a reqlly nice feel. The paint on the guitar has cosmetic wear, as well as lots of various blemishes over the guitar in general. No repairs have ever been needed or made. The neck pickup can be a bit finicky when moving the 3 way selector. I am nearly certain the 3 way switch is the culprit but it still works and I dont play live so no biggie for around the house play. There is a nice dent on the back of the headstock right beside the E string tuner. I have wondered if steam would bring the crushed wood back up to the surface. Never tried it. There have been a few supporting parts that have been replaced or are needed. A few of the saddles have been replaced over its life. It doesnt have the tremolo arm. Its missing a few of the fine adjustment top knobs and I believe all of the small string retainer blocks that are similiar to the ones on a Floyd Rose. The strap buttons are not original. Sorry, no case but will pack it fully protected and encspsulated.
