2010 Fender Standard Stratocaster in Black, extensively upgraded and refinished in a convincing heavy-relic style.

This guitar retains its genuine Fender Mexican-made identity while incorporating a carefully selected set of boutique electronics and aged hardware. The centerpiece is a hand-wound Radioshop Pickups “The Black One” SSS set, accompanied by its original signed certificate of authenticity and individual pickup-specification card.

The Radioshop set features Alnico 5 magnets, 42 AWG heavy Formvar wire and parchment covers. The documented outputs are:

Bridge – 6.2k
Middle – 6.0k
Neck – 5.8k

Pickup serial number 2391, dated May 19, 2022. The original Radioshop certificate and specification card are included.

The guitar is also equipped with an MJT-aged hardware package, including the aged vintage-style tuners, six-screw tremolo/bridge assembly, output-jack plate and associated hardware. The aged metalwork complements the extensive black-body relic treatment, worn maple fingerboard and naturally broken-in visual character.

It has just been freshly restrung with Ernie Ball Regular Slinky .010–.046 strings and received a complete setup. Neck relief, action, saddle radius, pickup height and intonation were adjusted across the instrument. It now plays evenly across all six strings with a responsive action that remains clean under normal attack while allowing natural Strat-style fret clank when deliberately played harder.

All three pickups, all five selector positions and the volume and tone controls have been tested and function correctly. The tremolo arm is included.

The heavy wear and exposed wood shown throughout the photographs are part of the guitar’s intentionally aged aesthetic. Please inspect the detailed front, rear, neck, hardware and serial-number photographs for the exact cosmetic condition.
