Description:
The SolidGoldFX If 6 Was 9 pedal is the company’s take on the late-’60s/early-’70s Fuzz Face. It uses a pair of new-old-stock BC183 transistors that produce a rich, smooth fuzz with excellent sustain and volume clean-up. Vintage-spec carbon-comp resistors enhance the warmth of the core circuit while an external Bias control and a tailored two-way Tone switch increase versatility.

From SolidGoldFX comes their If 6 Was 9 fuzz, a modern reinterpretation of the classic Fuzz Face circuitry of the '60s and '70s. With silicon transistors for a sharp bite but a focused bass response, you'll be able to get whatever tones you want out of this attractive pedal. A tone switch allows you to choose from thick, tight, and treble boosted tone modes and its three knobs (Fuzz, Level, and Bias) help you precision shape the distortion you're creating.
