Up for grabs is this stunning Light Aged R9 from the good folks at Gibson’s Murphy Lab. The Royal Tea Burst finish is perfect on this one with a monster flame top from every angle. The Alnico III Custombuckers have all that classic LP tone with lots of body and clarity and the neck carve feels like you’ve been playing it your entire life. Low action without buzzing, it plays very well. The Light Aged treatment is my personal favorite with a nice VOS finish, a handful of wear in the most likely places and faint finish checking throughout that can be seen in the right light. Weight is a nearly unbelievable 7 pounds 11 ounces on my scale, it’s very very comfortable.

This one is in fantastic condition with no blemishes to note outside the factory relic. The neck is straight, truss rod turns as it should and all electronics work perfectly. Original Gibson Custom case and Murphy COA are included.
