Harley Benton G112 Vintage 1x12 - 1977 Eminence Alnico - Closed Back

A G112 Vintage that's actually vintage.

This Harley Benton G112 Vintage has been converted to a closed-back 1x12 and loaded with a genuine vintage 1977 Eminence Alnico 12-inch speaker.

The G112 Vintage originally came with a Celestion Vintage 30 and a partially open rear panel. The original V30 has been removed, and the cabinet has been converted to a closed-back design for a tighter, more focused response.

The installed Eminence is marked 100-0015 with EIA date code 67-7715. The 67 manufacturer code identifies Eminence, and 7715 dates the speaker to the 15th week of 1977.

The speaker is a nominal 8-ohm driver and measures 6.5 ohms DCR on the bench meter, as shown in the photos. It weighs approximately 8.7 lbs.

The speaker has been reconed at some point in its life and is tested and working properly. Estimated power handling is approximately 30 watts RMS.

The cabinet is constructed from 18mm poplar plywood and features a rear-loaded 12-inch speaker, black Tolex, metal corner protectors and a top carrying handle. The original partially open rear configuration has been converted to closed back using a matching-thickness rear panel.

Cabinet dimensions are approximately 18.1 in W x 18.5 in H x 11.8 in D.

The cabinet is very clean overall with only minor signs of use. Please see all photos for exact cosmetic condition.

Please note that this is a modified G112 Vintage and is no longer the stock Celestion Vintage 30 configuration. The approximately 30-watt speaker rating is an estimate because the vintage Eminence has been reconed.
