This boost pedal replicates the preamp section of the Schaffer-Vega Diversity wireless system used by Angus Young, David Gilmour, and Eddie Van Halen. It delivers up to 30 dB of clean boost with added harmonic coloration and string separation. The circuit is 100% analog and runs on standard 9-12V DC power or a 9V battery.
The OUTPUT knob sets the overall boost level. A footswitch jack allows remote bypass control. The pedal is built on a commercial-grade PCB and housed in a compact metal enclosure.
