Powers Electric A Type 2025 - Palm Green - Humbuckers

READ FIRST: The only reason I put "excellent condition" instead of "mint condition" is for that ding repair shown on the tenth picture. However, that is a repair done in the factory by the Powers Electric team before I bought it. It is smooth and you can't feel it but it is noticeable once seen or pointed out. It is about 7/64s of an inch in size. I write this out first so it is known that it is there. That is its only imperfection as everything else in is perfect condition. If you're like me and don't mind this kind of thing, then carry on with reading the good stuff.

THE GOOD STUFF:

If you know guitars and more specifically Powers Electrics, you will notice the main big difference here is that it has humbuckers. I installed Seymour Duncan Alnico II Pro APH-2, more specifically the Slash signature zebra set. I also replaced the pots to some 500K Seymour Duncan SDP-500 pots. While the original PF42 pickups are AMAZING, in my opinion the HH configuration is the best. No parts of the top or body were modified, cut, routed or mutilated. The pickups fit right in, however I did have to make custom pickup rings (out of Rosewood to try to match the fretboard) as the original rings only fit the original pickups. So this is really a unique one of a kind guitar. Also please note that because of these modifications, the warranty with the company is void.

The fretboard is dual radiused to be flatter on the treble side and it is very comfortable to play with a pretty low action and jumbo nickel frets.

The Nut is made out of delrin which is a material that has strong and is very low friction which makes it really smooth for the strings to glide on especially when using the tremolo bar.

The Saddle is made of brass which honestly looks really cool and the knobs are made of resin. I also installed Dunlop Straplok Dual Design strap locks.

WHY AM I SELLING IT?:

I have a decent rotation of guitars at home. I like buying and trying all kinds of guitars. I take EXCELLENT care of my guitars. I keep them in their cases away from anything or anyone that could damage or do any harm to them. I think someone would be extremely pleased with this guitar and I will eventually buy another one to keep but in a different color. Also the actual main reason, I've got some bills to pay lol. For now, it's time for it to go to someone else and someone else as happy as it makes me playing it.
