Keyfax 5 1994 - Paper

Full disclosure, I am the author of this book. It was published in 1994 (I think) and is the sister book to Keyfax-4, which looked at synths and samplers of the time. Keyfax-5 looks at digital pianos, MIDI modules (GM ones especially), home or arranger-style keyboards, and the then-emerging field of computer software.

The book was written for people to have a 'current' buyers guide at their disposal. Thirty years down the track, the book has only historical interest, though even this is probably as significant today as interest for the current idiom was then.

Clearing out my garage, as one periodically does, I came across a small box of Keyfax-5s. They are in perfect condition aside from minor staining (from damp?) on some of the edges. This doesn't bleed onto any of the pages themselves but it prevents me from say 'in pristine condition.' There again, neither am I, so who's quibbling?

Once these are gone they'll be gone. The garage is now clean and clear and there will be no further such discoveries in the future, one reason being that I ain't doing this again!
