Pair of Jensen C10Q 10" reconed vintage speakers in excellent condition. These are 8 ohm speakers. The date code is 220711 which puts them at 1967. These have both been professionally re-coned at the old Musical Exchange in Austin, so they're done right and ready to go. I've had them for a while but never used them. So, it's time for them to rock. I think Jensens sound great! They were commonly used in Fender amps in the 1960s.

I have owned and restored many vintage amps from the 1950s and 1960s. Part of acquiring a new amp usually requires some refurbishing. I very often had worn out speakers reconed. If the correct parts are used in the recone, the results are excellent and using the original baskets maintains a degree of originality in the amp.

The best I can tell from researching the web, these speakers are rated at about 30 watts each. So, if you put them in parallel, they can handle 60 watts of power. They could be used in as a single in a Princeton or a pair in a Vibrolux. They would work well in a guitar amp in the 10 to 50 watt range.

These speakers would be an excellent choice for your restoration project or to bring new life to your amp.
