Well played 1959 Fender Slab Board Rosewood Telecaster. This guitar has an incredible feel, with a slim neck at the base that widens as yougo up the neck. It's both a top loader and a string-through which gives you two distinct tones. The body has been refinished. When the body was refinished, leads were cut and have been re-spliced. Some solder joints havebeen touched up. One of the intonation screws has been replaced. The tuners have been replaced. The nut has been shimmed up slightly as it was refretted. Body and serial number dates to 1959, pots all date to 47th week of 1959. As typical of 1959s, the neck isn't dated as shown. Dark Brazilian Rosewood fretboard that plays like butter. The pickups are very lively (Bridge 7.0 ohms; neck 6.4 ohms) and balanced with a sweet, open sounding neck pickup and punchy, twangy bridge pickup that erupts into a roar when pushed. Ships with new molded case. It weighs a comfortable 7lbs 2 oz.
