Elta Music Solar 50 2022 - Red

This is one of the legendary Solar 50 synths. The synth that laid the foundation for the Solar 42. It is a tad more experimental and raw than the 42. Each touch plate represents one of the banks of five oscilators. As such this kind of is an insane drone synth with the touch plates rather than the more tuned in touch plates of the 42.

The use of the polivoks filter is still there.

It has many quirks.

This comes with the elta effects cards.

Now onto the history. This is part of the last batch that got out Russia/Ukraine along with the founder at the end of the war. In short this was nearly a synth lost to history. I recently lost a job otherwise it would remain in my collection. It is a pretty playable synth if you like experimental synths. But as a last batch Solar 50 it has an interesting history. As such it would also fit nicely into a museum as well. It is a piece of history.
