I've owned a lot of these LG1s and this is a good one. Records great. This does the classic ladder-braced thing. Like running a full-time limiter and then a compressor that kicks in when you push it. While you aren't going to shatter any windows with volume, the tone is balanced, clean, with some sparkle. Also handles alternate tunings well because of this, no muddy or harshness.

Condition: No cracks, which is extremely rare. Usually these old LG’s will at a minimum have a fingerboard extension crack. No bellying or bulging.
Center seam is solid, the factory glue joining was just hasty. Same with the back - structurally solid, just noticeable. Gibson didn't put any center strip on the back (typical Gibson weird choices.)
There is a small 1/4 inch indent on the bottom of the guitar by the pickup jack. Repaired and hardly visible, but worth noting.

Setup: Plays nicely with 12s, but room on the saddle for you to lower or tweak. Might even take mediums if you wanted more boom out of it.

Neck: Classic early 50's neck. 1 11/16th nut. Probably/maybe is the same profile as a Les Paul neck from this era.

Bridge: Reglued at some point.

Saddle: Not original. Should be a through saddle, but isn't. Works as it should, but aesthetically is incorrect. 

Nut: I think this is replaced and it is bone.

Frets: Good shape, showing a little bit of wear, but nothing major. Could probably refret them whenever a neck reset would be done, which is nowhere near soon. Guitar does not show any past signs of a neck reset.

Electronics: K and K Trinity pickup, $300 value

Tuners: Replaced tuners, but will include original. Not sure if those can be restored or not.

Case: Comes with the original Gibson branded faux gator case, super cool. If you wanted more heavy-duty protection, this will fit in a TKL/Gator classical case, which are about $150.
