Purchased this combo for my Northfield Mandolin directly from Schertler this year 2026. Used a few times on worship team and works excellent, most natural sounding to me. I did not want to drill out my end pin, so I purchased this combo. I also had the manufacture custom the Mandolin cord to be detachable and paid the extra charge. This way you can actually leave the microphone on the instrument and keep just the pig tail piece clipped on the mandolin tail piece with out having the annoying XLR cord when in the case. This was an up charge the standard original M-P48 is all one cord from microphone to XLG connector.
