Gorgeous Guild CV-2 Maple and Spruce Guitar CV-2 Maple and Spruce 2007

My one owner 2007 Guild CV-2 Serial #TK178012 was built on June 27, 2007. It was the 12th unit built that day. It has a Spruce top, Maple sides and back and a Mahogany neck. It was crafted in their Tacoma, WA facility. It is not a later Asian production guitar. Guild used an innovative bolt-on and adjustable neck known for its stability.

It is completely free of any crazing or cracking in the finish. It plays so well. This is by far the best sounding Maple guitar I have heard, deep yet full.

There is one very slight and light scratch on the headstock caused during a string change and a very small ding on the corner of the headstock which is on the downside while played. One must look carefully to see either. It has been stored and kept humidified in its original Guild case. The Guild case is in excellent condition and has not travelled.

This is a must see and hear guitar and I hope to be able to sell it locally and avoid any situation where I have to ship it and only as a last resort. I am more of a banjo and bass player so have played it or had it out of its case very little. I have kept it this long just because it is so beautiful. I am getting old and need to pass this beauty along to a younger player now. Please come and see it. You won't be disappointed.
