About this listing
This Squier 2023 Fender 40th Anniversary Jazzmaster Vintage Edition in Satin Seafoam Green is in excellent condition. A guitar that plays this well at this price is a surprise - and it is cool lookin too.The 40th Anniversary Jazzmaster Vintage Edition was Squier's nod to the original offset recipe: the gold anodized aluminum pickguard is the most visually distinctive late 50s touch. The bone nut is a meaningful upgrade over what you'd typically find at this price point, and the Fender-Designed Alnico 5 pickups — wired through the proper Jazzmaster slide switch and 3-way toggle control setup — keep the functional layout true to the original circuit. The non-locking floating vibrato and 6-saddle vintage-style floating bridge round out the classic Jazzmaster architecture.Everything on this guitar is original — finish, neck plate, tuners, pickguard, bridge, vibrato arm, pickups, wiring, pots, output jack, and knobs. No repairs have been made to the neck, fretboard, or frets, and all are in excellent shape. Action is a player-friendly 2/32" on both the first and sixth string at the 12th fret. Pickup readings came in at 6.85k on the neck and 11.81k on the bridge. The truss rod is in excellent condition with room for future adjustment. No case is included.Mahar's Vintage Guitars is a brick-and-mortar and web-based retailer.
