Overview: A year or two ago, we worked on this guitar for its owner and got it playing spot-on. It's a lovely instrument -- full and warm and with a little more bite (due to that long scale) as compared to a traditional J-45-style guitar. These Texans also have the big old block inlay that looks so cool.

This one has a quick, rock-n-roll-style neck that's perfect for closed-position chords up and down the neck. It's also got a bit of lived-in wear that gives it that friendly, ready-to-play, show-worthy glow.

Repairs included: Previously, Ancel made and fit a new bridge and saddle to it, gave it a level/dress of the frets, re-repaired some old hairline crack repairs on top, cleaned it up, and set it up. Someone in the past had reglued a hairline crack in the bottom of the heel and, very likely, reset the neck. It's in good healthy and playing spot-on and is ready to roll.

Condition notes: There are two repaired top cracks below the bridge. The bridge is a replacement of the proper style but with a drop-in, rather than adjustable saddle. It's made from Madagascar rosewood so it looks a lot like the Brazilian rosewood fretboard. There's weather-checking, numerous scratches, scuffs, nicks, and dings here and there throughout the finish. Aside from the bridge, saddle, and bridge pins it appears original throughout. There's odd white dots in the inside -- from spray paint leak? Some sort of chemical reaction? It's not mold but it's odd.
