Vintage pair of Teledyne Acoustic Research AR-14 speakers in very good condition.
The AR-14 is a respected late-1970s American acoustic-suspension design featuring a 10-inch woofer, dome tweeter, and rear high-frequency level adjustment. These deliver the warm, smooth AR sound with excellent bass extension and a natural, non-fatiguing top end.
Both speakers have been tested and are working properly. Both woofers and tweeters play, and the pair sounds balanced.
Cosmetically, the walnut-vener cabinets present beautifully for their age. Both AR-14 badges are intact, and the black grilles are in very good condition. There are minor age-related marks, scratches on the rear panels, and some oxidation around the speaker terminals. Please review all photos closely for the exact cosmetic condition.
