Yamaha YAS-200ADII Alto Saxophone – Excellent Condition, Freshly Serviced, Perfectly In Tune, Ready to Play, Priced to Sell

This Yamaha YAS-200ADII alto just came back from the shop and it’s a clean, easy player. Cosmetically it’s in excellent shape with only the kind of light handling you’d expect on a used horn. A few days ago it got a full professional service, then I play tested it several times after that. It’s perfectly in tune. The tone holes look the way they should. The pads are sealing with no leaks. The sound is that familiar Yamaha alto voice — warm enough to sit in a band, still clear when you push it.

The keywork feels even and the springs snap back without feeling stiff. Soft notes speak instead of hanging, and the top end stays usable instead of getting thin or sharp. After the service and those extra play tests, nothing about it feels half-finished. You can put a reed on and go.

The 200ADII is Yamaha’s student-to-intermediate alto, the kind of horn a lot of school players stay on longer than they planned because it stays in line and doesn’t turn into a project. Solid build, consistent pitch, and a tone that works for band and practice without a lot of fuss.
