[Description]

Since its debut in 1996, the j.custom series has remained Ibanez's flagship line. Built as custom-level instruments, j.custom guitars are designed to satisfy the diverse styles and requirements of modern guitarists.

We have received this instrument in the popular "Black Rutile" finish. Rutile is a titanium dioxide crystal, and quartz containing black needle-like rutile inclusions is known as Black Rutile. The flamed grain peeking through the near-grey black color perfectly fits that image. The combination of the flat-sawn grain, subtle flame, and cool color scheme gives this guitar an exceptional aesthetic.

In terms of sound, it delivers not only the ultra-high-fidelity, high-gain tones expected from its looks, but also warm, rich tones courtesy of its mahogany back and maple top. Equipped with high-output pickups, it excels at high-gain riffs and lead playing without losing low-end definition, maintaining a heavy and punchy sound.

[Features]

- Super Wizard 5pc Maple/Wenge neck

Features an ultra-thin Super Wizard neck profile designed for maximum playability and an exceptionally light grip.

- Special j.custom Neck

Constructed with a 5-piece maple and wenge combination for high strength and natural tone. The back of the neck features a "Velvetouch" finish that feels smooth and well-played in your hands.

- Macassar Ebony fretboard

Features Macassar Ebony, known for its quick response, tight grain, and striking vertical stripes, adorned with the iconic j.custom "Tree of Life" inlay.

- Flamed Maple top (4mm) / African Mahogany body

Combines an African Mahogany body delivering rich mid-to-low end response with a beautiful AAA flamed maple top.

- All Access Neck Joint

Smoothly contoured neck heel for seamless upper-fret access, designed specifically for j.custom models to ensure ultimate playability.

- DiMarzio Pickups (Air Norton / True Velvet / The Tone Zone)

Loaded with an Air Norton in the neck for warm and clear tone, a True Velvet in the middle for bright and low-noise single-coil sound, and a Tone Zone in the bridge for a powerful, well-balanced output across all frequencies.

- Lo-Pro Edge tremolo

The low-profile original tremolo bridge offers smooth performance and recessed fine tuners to prevent accidental tuning shifts during play.
