The Medusa is a death metal distortion built around the classic HM-2 circuit but with expanded controls and modern features. It offers up to three times the gain of the original, a cut control for tightening low end, and a parallel FX loop for blending clean or additional effects. A built-in noise gate triggered from the input keeps things quiet even at high gain settings. The 4-band active EQ includes low, grind, mids, and presence controls, each with ±16 dB range. A low-cut knob rolls off up to 1.5 kHz, and a clean blend knob lets you mix dry signal through the parallel loop. Internal charge pump provides 27 V headroom from a standard 9 V supply.
