The SNK Pedals VHD Distortion recreates the distortion channel from the Ampeg VH-140C solid-state amp. It delivers the heavy, aggressive tones favored by 90s hardcore and death metal players. Controls are Level, High, UltraMid, Low, and Gain. The pedal can be used into an amp's front end, into an effects loop return, or straight into a power amp.
Build quality includes Wima film capacitors, Nichicon electrolytics, Xicon metal film resistors, Alpha potentiometers, and Neutrik jacks in a powder-coated Hammond 1590BBM enclosure. True bypass switching with a water-clear red LED. Top-mounted jacks. No battery option.
