This MXR M279 Deep Phase is a straightforward phaser with selectable 4-stage or 8-stage operation. The Speed knob sweeps the rate from slow, subtle movement to fast, swirling textures. The Depth control sets how pronounced the phase effect becomes, and the 4/8 switch lets you choose between a classic, vintage-style sweep or a thicker, more complex modulation.
