A rare find, this complete package includes a 1941 Gibson L-50 in great condition, the original GEIB Aeroplane Cloth case and a Gibson Souvenir pick pouch.

#3379G places the guitar to be built in 1941.

The original Kluson tuners are included. Three look good and are functional, the other three are missing the original buttons but are still functional, though the makeshift buttons would need to be replaced. The truss rod works perfect, the action is great, the guitar sounds excellent. Everything besides the tuners is original.

The case is an original GEIB tweed case (aka "Aeroplane Cloth") with the racing stripe pattern. These cases were made exclusively for Gibson by Geib. Of the two Aeroplane Cloth cases made during the period between 1937 and 1942 this is the 16" version, listed in the catalog as #534, which was only available in flannel lining.

The case is 44" long, 17.25" at lower bout, 13" at upper bout. Internal dimensions are: 43.25", 16" and 11.75". Has the Geib stamp on bottom and the Eagle Lock hardware. 2 feet are missing, handle is intact.

Also included is an original Gibson Souvenir leather pick pouch. Logo is fading but otherwise in good condition. Parts of the seam appear to have been restitched.

Priced for value of all items combined. If you are sincerely interested I may be willing to sell the guitar and case separately. Case would be for sale at $1400. I prefer to keep everything together but will part out if no-one grabs the whole package.
