As the first woman to have a signature Gibson mandolin, Sierra Hull’s influence is evident throughout; balancing tradition, precision, and forward-thinking artistry in a design that feels both historic and personal.

Crafted with a two-piece, quarter-sawn figured red maple back and flat-sawn figured red maple sides, the F-style body is paired with a carved solid Sitka spruce top for clarity, projection, and tonal depth. The hand-applied VOS varnish finish in Sierra Burst, a first for the F-5G platform, enhances resonance while lending a warm, vintage-inspired aesthetic that highlights the maple’s figure and the instrument’s elegant contours.

The figured red maple neck features Sierra’s custom narrow profile for effortless playability, flowing into a 14” radius ebony fretboard with 20 medium frets and mother-of-pearl dot inlays. A historic scroll headstock showcases “The Gibson” logo and Flowerpot in mother of pearl, complemented by Grover tuners with mother-of-pearl buttons, uniting classic visual appointments with dependable performance.

An ebony bridge and mother-of-pearl nut anchor the instrument’s articulate response, while nickel hardware, including a tailpiece cover engraved with “The Gibson” and Sierra Hull’s initials, adds a refined finishing touch.
