For sale is a used Buffet R13 Bb wood clarinet made in 1963. This clarinet has just been professionally overhauled by Woodwind Tech.
Disassemble: removed all pads and key corks from keys and tenon corks from body. Chem-Clean all keys and polish, clean wooden body with Murphy's oil soap. Soaked the wood in a combination of almond oil & extra virgin olive oil for 3 days. Lightly cleaned wood again with Murphy's oil soap. Polished the bore and applied bore oil. Hand polished the outside of the body and polished key post. Checked all springs and replaced any needed springs. Applied gold where possible in embossed logos. Install new tenon cork and fit to sockets. Chem-clean and polished key hinge rods and pivot screws. Replaced all key corks, installed cork pads on top joint minus 1 key and kangaroo leather pads in lower joint plus 1 in top joint. Completely oil and assembled all keys, seating all pads as they are installed. Completely adjusted to preformance condition. Re-checked all adjustments prior to delivery.
No cracks or repaired cracks on this horn but it does have some scratches. It was made in France and has matching serial numbers 69906 on both joints. It comes with a Vandoren mouthpiece. The case shows some wear. Sorry, USA shipping only.
