Here’s an excellent pair of compressors that have been modded by the great Eddie Ciletti. Ciletti made these compressors more than just useful as tracking compressors. The list of mods Eddie made to this unit are listed in the last photo. The mods cost $900. I’m just trying to get the money back that I invested in this unit to pay off Uncle Sam.

These have that familiar forgiving nature that you get from LA3’s if a player digs in a little harder than anticipated. Say if an acoustic player starts really digging in harder than you thought and you’re getting into heavier reduction, this modded compressor will still let pick attack come through.

Prior to these mods, this compressor would commonly collapse the source material into a murky and slightly unintelligible state if pushed too hard
