This started life as a 1991 Gibson Custom Shop Firebird I. In my opinion, it was mistakenly routed for a neck pickup at the factory. The neck pickup route is perfect. There is no route under the guard for the typical switch on a FB III. And the controls were once setup for FB I configuration. This likely became an employee guitar or a factory 2nd. There are two plugged holes near the knobs and the jack was moved to the side of the guitar. Light overspray only around the knobs. All this work was very professionally done. There are no other breaks or repairs. The pickups are Mojotone Johnny Winters and the harness is also mojotone. The guitar plays and sounds great and is now half price. Comes with a generic hard case.
