🔥 RARE ORIGINAL COPPER JBF3 – JOE BONAMASSA SIGNATURE FUZZ FACE

For sale is an original Dunlop JBF3 Joe Bonamassa Signature Fuzz Face, featuring the highly distinctive polished copper enclosure.

This is the original JBF3 copper version, a hand-wired Germanium Fuzz Face designed around Joe Bonamassa’s blues-rock sound and specifically voiced to work exceptionally well with humbuckers.

The pedal uses matched NOS Russian military germanium transistors, carefully selected for their warm, creamy and highly responsive fuzz character. It can move from rich vintage fuzz into a much more aggressive, saturated and sustaining blues-rock sound.

The copper enclosure is one of the defining characteristics of the original JBF3 and naturally develops patina over time, making each pedal increasingly unique.

🔥 Limited Edition Copper Version

The original copper JBF3 was produced in limited production runs and has become a sought-after version among Fuzz Face and Joe Bonamassa collectors.

This is not the later black JBF3B version. This is the original copper JBF3.

Tone

The JBF3 delivers a classic Germanium Fuzz Face character with plenty of dynamics and personality:

• Warm, creamy vintage fuzz
• Thick blues-rock tones
• Aggressive, growling fuzz
• Excellent sustain
• Strong response to guitar volume and picking dynamics
• Particularly well suited to humbuckers
• Can move from singing fuzz into heavier distortion-like territory

Joe Bonamassa’s approach to the pedal emphasizes running the Volume and Fuzz controls high, bringing out the thick, powerful character the JBF3 was designed around.

The pedal also sits comfortably in the classic Fuzz Face tradition associated with players such as Jimi Hendrix and David Gilmour, while being specifically tailored toward Bonamassa’s powerful blues-rock approach.
