Tokai LS-102F Relic Classic Finish/Vintage ~Cherry Sunburst~ #2653121 [4.02kg]

A rare, limited-production model featuring an all-lacquer finish and aged hardware, delivering an exceptional resonance that stands out among Tokai's lineup!

[About This Instrument]

Featuring an unbuffed, ultra-thin nitrocellulose lacquer finish combined with realistic aged nickel hardware, this guitar projects an authentic, seasoned vintage aura right out of the box. The top showcases dense, tight flame maple grain running edge-to-edge. Combined with the vibrant Cherry Sunburst hue and the matte, silky texture of the unbuffed lacquer finish, it exudes a deeply satisfying vintage-burst aesthetic.

Weighed at an ideal 4.02 kg (8.86 lbs) for a Single-Cut Les Paul style guitar, it achieves high-level acoustic resonance across the entire body alongside rich, fat sustain.

[Sound & Pickups]

The ultra-thin nitrocellulose lacquer finish does not inhibit wood resonance in the slightest, pairing seamlessly with the Japanese-made "PAF-Vintage MK2 Relic" pickups.

- Overdrive / Distortion:

Driving an amp releases a thick, airy midrange with an exquisite bite. Raising the gain produces a powerful, punchy sound that cuts through while maintaining a smoky, mature overdrive tone without harsh highs. The guitar's high acoustic responsiveness—thanks to hide-glue construction and ultra-thin finish—ensures clarity and dynamic responsiveness even under heavy distortion.

- Clean:

Delivers a warm, sweet, acoustically rich tone rather than a cold, harsh clean sound. The neck pickup offers a responsive, fat jazz/blues tone. The middle position blends crystalline chime with rich mahogany warmth, making it ideal for backing tracks and rhythm playing. Dynamics and volume control tracking are superb, smoothly transitioning from clean to crunchy tones.
