A seriously cool 1996 Orville Les Paul Junior, Made in Japan, finished in a classic Sunburst. This is a great example of a ’90s Japanese Orville - simple, lightweight, resonant, and built around everything that makes a good Les Paul Junior so much fun to play.

The guitar is in good condition for its age. There is one noticeable chip on the edge of the body, along with various small scratches, marks and signs of natural playwear throughout. Nothing unusual for a nearly 30-year-old instrument, and overall it still looks surprisingly clean and presents beautifully in person. Please check all photos carefully for the cosmetic condition.

The frets are in excellent condition, showing only light and even wear with no deep divots or dead spots. They have also been polished to a shine, and the guitar has been professionally set up and is ready to play.

The original Orville P-90 in the bridge delivers exactly what you want from a Junior - raw, open and punchy, with plenty of midrange bite and that unmistakable P-90 growl when pushed. Roll the volume back and it cleans up beautifully, making the simple one-pickup / two-knob layout much more versatile than it might look.

The guitar retains its original Japanese electronics, and everything works exactly as it should.

A killer Japanese-made Junior with tons of character - straightforward, resonant and incredibly fun to play. A great choice if you’re looking for the classic Les Paul Junior experience with the quality and feel that made ’90s Orville guitars so desirable.

The following work has been done: full cleaning, lemon oil fretboard treatment, fret spot leveling/polishing and string height setup (2.3 mm at the 12th fret on the low E string), pickup height adjusted for balance and clarity, and a fresh set of D'Addario XL 10/46 strings installed.
