An effect-defining pedal that gave shape to the whirling, shifting sound of '80s riffs and sky-high leads, the Boss BF-2 Flanger MIJ in the original "Black Label" is a pillar in the pedal world. Produced in Japan from 1980 through 1983, this coveted original model of one of the most commonly used flange pedals features is distinguished by features like metal screws and a black production label on the interior (hence the name). A desirable piece of pedal history.
