Roland Saturn 09 (SA-09) Vintage Analog Synthesizer — Refurbished & Fully Functional

Late-’70s Roland analog goodness in an wonderfully simple little octave divider polysynth. The Saturn 09 is built around a great-sounding square-wave oscillator with tone shaping, vibrato/chorus, organ and percussive envelope modes, accent and sustain. It’s immediate, weirdly charming, and capable of everything from fat bass and simple leads to drones and vintage electronic textures.

This unit has been refurbished and is fully functional. During the refurbishment, I designed and 3D-printed a replacement for one of the original slider components. The replacement functions properly, but it is not an original Roland part. The synth also has some cosmetic scuffs and wear consistent with its age, which I’ve tried to show clearly in the photos.

Rather than simply saying “everything works,” I made a full YouTube demonstration running through the instrument and its functions so you can see and hear exactly what you’re buying:

This is a player, not a museum piece — a nearly 50-year-old Roland that has been refurbished, tested, demonstrated and is ready to make music.

Condition: Good / Very Good vintage condition with cosmetic wear and the replacement slider noted above. Please review the photos and video carefully.
