Up for sale is a rare early-run 2004 Caparison Horus, hand-crafted in Japan. Designed in collaboration with Japanese metal virtuosos and former Jackson Japan custom shop master Itaru Kanno, early late-90s Caparisons are legendary for their elite build quality, ergonomic fret access, and lightning-fast playability.
This guitar features the iconic 27-fret rosewood fingerboard with signature Caparison clock inlays and the unmistakable "Devil's Tail" reverse headstock.
Pickups & Upgrades:
Bridge Pickup: Upgraded to a Seymour Duncan JB, delivering massive harmonic punch, articulate crunch, and searing lead tones.
Neck Pickup: Upgraded to a Joe Satriani signature mini-humbucker / rails style, giving thick, singing vocal lead tones in the neck slot.
Original Pickups Included: Crucially, the original factory Caparison pickups are included in the case, ensuring complete collector/purist value should you ever wish to return it to stock spec.

Frets: 27 jumbo frets with great life left, level and fast with no dead spots.
Bridge: Original gold double-locking tremolo system; stays in tune flawlessly through heavy divebombs and pull-ups.
Cosmetics: Honest player wear appropriate for a 2004 instrument (minor pick swirls, small edge marks/patina on the gold hardware, as pictured). Structurally 100% sound with no neck/headstock breaks or repairs.
