The Hoof is EQD's flagship fuzz, loosely based on the green Russian Big Muff circuit but built around a hybrid germanium/silicon design with hand-matched NOS germanium transistors. Tighter and more articulate than a standard Muff, so it cuts in a band mix instead of disappearing. The Shift control moves the center frequency of the Tone control, taking you from classic scooped mids to a forward midrange push. Gain range runs from gritty amp-like overdrive all the way to a sustaining wall of fuzz.
V2 spec: silent soft-touch relay switching, true bypass, all-analog signal path. Requires 9V DC power, center negative. No battery operation.
