Warm Audio Fen Tone Active Ribbon Microphone — Excellent Condition

Selling my Warm Audio Fen Tone active ribbon microphone in excellent condition. This is a very versatile ribbon mic that delivers the smooth top end and full, natural midrange you’d expect from a ribbon, while its active electronics provide plenty of output and make it much easier to pair with a wide range of preamps and interfaces.

The Fen Tone is particularly good on electric guitar cabinets, bass cabinets, vocals, brass, percussion, and room-mic duties. On guitar amps, it’s excellent for taming harsh upper mids and fizzy high frequencies while retaining plenty of body and low-mid character. It also pairs extremely well with a dynamic mic such as an SM57 for a fuller, more dimensional cabinet sound.

The active FET design requires 48V phantom power and provides substantially more output than a traditional passive ribbon, so you don't need an unusually high-gain or specialized ribbon preamp.

Mic has been well cared for and is fully functional. Excellent choice for anyone looking to add a high-quality ribbon sound to their mic collection without the gain requirements of a traditional passive ribbon.
