Seymour Duncan APH-2s Slash Alnico II Pro Humbucker Black, Set Pickup

Seymour Duncan APH-2s Slash Alnico II Pro Humbucker Black, Set Pickup

The APH-2s pair delivers the thick, articulate voice that defined one of rock's most recognizable tones. Hand-built with premium materials and voiced for both clarity and sustain, these uncovered humbuckers respond with impressive dynamics across the entire frequency spectrum. This is a direct-replacement set engineered for players who demand vintage character with modern consistency.

Tone & Output

The bridge and neck pair produce complementary frequency responses—the bridge resonant peak at 6 kHz cuts through with presence while the neck peaks at 6.4 kHz for a balanced, articulate voice across both positions. DC resistance measurements of 8.9k ohms (bridge) and 8.3k ohms (neck) yield moderate output capable of sustaining power without sacrificing note definition, supported by an EQ profile of 7 Bass / 5 Mid / 8 Treble that emphasizes upper-end clarity.

Construction & Wiring

Each pickup features hand-built construction with a nickel silver bottom plate, single-conductor braided lead wire, and wooden maple spacer for superior shielding and durability. Long-legged base plates accommodate standard Gibson-style mounting, while the uncovered design allows full magnetic coupling for maximum responsiveness and wax potting provides noise rejection.
