An early Plexi reissue model from 1987!
An early Plexi reissue model produced only from around 1987 to 1988?a rare 1959S model released before the transition to the 1959SLP
Equipped with four EL34 power tubes, delivering 100W of power; the classic Super Lead sound achieved by omitting the master volume control
Features a 4-input configuration with High Treble and Normal channels, allowing for a wide range of tone shaping
Features the distinctive appearance of the early reissue period, with black pin switches and a low-set Marshall logo
Equipped with four speaker outputs and impedance switching; practical specifications that support connection to multiple cabinets

The power tubes have been replaced with PSVANE EL34Cs, and four input jacks have also been replaced. The exterior shows signs of wear commensurate with its age. Since itfs a 100W amp with no master volume, it gets incredibly loud when driven hard. We recommend using an attenuator or similar device. When driven hard, it delivers a raw, aggressive tone and responds linearly to the playerfs touch. Itfs sure to blow away the fatigue of the day. While I was checking it out, a regular customer told me, gThat looks like funch I feel a little bad about that. This is a sound I really want not only veteran players but also younger players to experience for themselves!
