The PE-5 is PJBfs first bass preamp designed for use with both electric and upright basses. Thanks to its high sensitivity setting, it easily handles even passive piezo pickups for upright basses and provides ample amplification.
Equipped with a 5-band EQ and DI output
PJBfs renowned 5-band EQ allows for quick sound shaping. In addition to the standard output, it features a DI output, ground lift, and pre/post switch, enabling flexible output options tailored to the performance environment.
Built-in lithium battery
A unique feature is the built-in lithium battery; when charged via DC or USB-C, it can operate for up to 8 hours without an external power source.
