Gretsch G9555 New Yorker Archtop Hollowbody Guitar, DeArmond Rhythm Chief Vintage-Style Single Coil Pickup, Bound Rosewood Fretboard, Semi-Gloss, Vintage Sunburst
Dialed in and set up in-shop, plays great with low action and no issues. Featuring a bound rosewood fretboard and rosewood bridge, replaced by padauk in later models. The DeArmond Rhythm Chief Custom-Wound Vintage Style Single Coil Pickup with Rubberized Magnet is designed for clear, warm, articulate archtop tone. The classic, floating "Monkey-On-A-Stick" mounting hardware allows for full, rich tone from the solid spruce top.
In excellent aesthetic condition, appears near mint overall, some slight wear on tailpiece and chrome pickup casing, small scratch from string change on back of headstock.
We've restrung this with a fresh set of D'addario ECG25 Chromes Flat Wound 12-52, replacing the factory half-rounds.

Features include an arched solid spruce top, laminated maple sides and arched back, custom wound vintage-style singlecoil pickup with rubberized magnet, vintage-style “V”-shaped mahogany neck profile, rosewood fingerboard, 25” scale, compensated rosewood bridge with trapeze tailpiece, nickel hardware, and a stylish antique semi-gloss sunburst finish.
