This is an original 1977 Gibson RD Standard in factory Walnut finish with hardshell case.
The condition of this guitar is immaculate for its age, if not for a minor scuff mark above the rear pickup it looks as if it went unplayed. The finish is in great shape as seen in photos with just some very minor surface marks.
The RD Standard features a fully passive circuit—delivering traditional, high-output Gibson humbucker tones without needing on-board preamps or batteries that are in the RD Artist. The body and neck are solid maple construction paired with a 25.5” scale length which gives this model exceptional sustain, tight low end, and crisp attack.
