Speakers sound great fully functional. these were the black laminate, I dinged a cabinet and just peeled the black off and you are left with the mdf that has stained dark from glue and I thought it looked kinda cool so I went with it. Not perfect cosmetically on the outside of cabinets but boxes are not damaged and grills and speakers are in great condition.
