Finish, pickups, electronics and bridge all original (the 2 intonation screws on bridge are newer). The tuners appear to be early 60s "double line" Klusons?
The TV Yellow finish still pops and looks fantastic. The guitar does show signs of wear in the finish, but nothing serious and mainly on the edges. The only damage is a small chip on the corner of the headstock. No other repairs, breaks or mods at all!
Plays great! These have nice chunky necks and this one has the original frets, which have some wear; but plays great. Intonates well with the original wrap-around-bridge, which is a little surprising for a model this early.
Comes in a non-original, early Gibson "chainsaw case"; which fits it well. Case is in excellent condition. Early 2 latch model with both latches intact and working perfectly.
Seeing fewer and fewer of these available and almost never in this condition.
