Serato Pitch n Time LE 3 Time Stretch for Pro Tools and Logic (Card)

THE IMPORTANT THING FIRST, BECAUSE IT IS NOT WHAT YOU WOULD EXPECT. Pitch 'n Time LE works in BOTH PRO TOOLS AND LOGIC PRO. The dearer Pitch 'n Time Pro works in PRO TOOLS ONLY. So if you are a Logic user, THIS is the one that works for you, and the Pro version will not run at all.

The second thing worth knowing is that the audio quality is the same. Serato state that Pro and LE both use the same Pitch 'n Time algorithm and both produce the same high quality output. You are not buying a lesser sounding version.

What LE does not have is Pro's multi-change panels. LE applies a single set of parameters per process: one tempo setting and one pitch setting, applied to the selection. Pro adds the Variable Pitch panel, the Variable Tempo panel, the Time Morph panel and Varispeed mode, which let you make a series of changes that vary across a region in one pass. If you need a fixed stretch or a fixed transpose, and most work is exactly that, LE does it at the same quality for half the price.

In Pro Tools it runs as an AudioSuite plug-in. In Logic Pro it appears as an algorithm inside Logic's own Time & Pitch Machine, so there is no separate window to learn. Either way it is built for dramatic alterations to a sample or a finished mix while keeping the result natural.

The interface is deliberately plain: an input BPM calculator, a tempo slider with BPM and percentage, a pitch slider in semitones and percentage with an optional link between the two, key shift before and after, and an output length readout in minutes and seconds or samples.

Format: This is a brand new, unregistered activation card with printed instructions. Redeem the code with the manufacturer, download the software, and the licence is yours to keep.

System Requirements

• Host, REQUIRED - Pro Tools or Logic Pro. Serato's current requirements list Pro Tools 2023 and Logic Pro X. This is not a standalone application and will not work in Cubase, Ableton, Reaper or Studio One
• Processor warning - AMD Zen 5 family CPUs, the Ryzen 9000 series, prevent Pitch 'n Time from working, per Serato, because of an iLok issue
• macOS - native on Apple silicon with both Logic Pro X and Pro Tools, and macOS 14 Sonoma is supported
• Windows - supported for Pro Tools, with a Windows installer provided by Serato. Serato do not publish a current minimum Windows version. Note Logic Pro is macOS only
• Screen resolution - 1280 x 800 or larger
• Authorization - iLok Key, per Serato's own requirements table
• Internet connection - needed to redeem the code, download the installer and activate the licence
