I bought this as a cheap fix it up project and decided to have an Art Attack all over it. I did a sloppy job taping the sides so lots of paint and clear leaked over the edge. The body was in rough shape already with a large chip out of the back near the control cavity and a crack through the finish the entire length of the body.
The cavity cover was missing when I got it so I had to make one. When I did the paint I used left over on some paper I had lying around so when I cut up the paper to line the control cavity I had to make the cover clear acrylic. The control cover is friction fit with no screws holding it down. Keeping in vogue with that idea I got clear knobs and make a clear pickgaurd as well. I have the original pickgaurd and knobs I'll include.
The pickup is a new Artec replacement and I replaced the pots with Alpha A500K with a vintage circuit that uses a small capacitor in series with the signal to cut the highest frequencies off.
Now that its all done I'm afraid I'll go off the deep end and make a matching mask and outfit and lock in to create a new unique style of music and fashion and art that takes the world by storm and rockets me into instant stardom.
But I'm happy to stay anonymous and live a simple life, so I've gotta let it go.
