The GB10SE is a full hollow-body jazz guitar engineered to deliver the warm, articulate response that defined George Benson's iconic sound. Built with authentic jazz-box construction—spruce top, maple back and sides—paired with focused GB Special mini-humbuckers, this instrument excels in jazz, blues, and sophisticated rhythm contexts where tonal clarity and sustain matter most. B-stock condition makes this a practical choice for players seeking professional-grade construction at a reduced price point.
Tone and ElectronicsThe spruce top with maple back and sides creates a resonant, well-defined acoustic foundation that translates directly through two GB Special mini-humbuckers mounted on the pickguard. The ebony bridge and GB10 tailpiece hardware, combined with a half-bone/half-brass nut, contribute controlled sustain and tonal clarity essential to jazz and blues playing.
Playability and ConstructionA GB 3-piece maple set-in neck with 24.7" scale length and bound ebony fretboard provides a smooth, responsive playing surface across 22 medium frets finished with Artstar edge work. The 1.693" nut width offers comfortable spacing for clean articulation, while the single-cutaway full hollow-body design with f-holes and multi-layer binding ensures both aesthetic refinement and structural integrity.
