Schecter E-1 FR S Special Edition Electric Guitar in Trans Purple Burst

The E-1 FR S Special Edition delivers rapid, comfortable playability across extended passages thanks to its thin 'C' neck profile and set-neck construction. This instrument pairs ergonomic refinement with professional-grade hardware and active electronics, positioning it as a serious tool for progressive and heavy styles. The mahogany body with quilted maple top produces warm, resonant tones with excellent sustain—all finished in a striking Trans Purple Burst.

Playability & Feel

The three-piece mahogany neck with carbon fiber reinforcement rods resists twisting while the thin 'C' profile (0.787" at the 1st fret, 0.866" at the 12th fret) enables rapid position shifts and complex fingering work. A 25.5" scale length and ebony fretboard with 24 X-Jumbo stainless steel frets on a 12"-16" compound radius support both aggressive bending and clean chord work without dead spots or fret buzz.

Tone & Electronics

The Schecter USA Apocalypse VI humbucker in the bridge position delivers high-output aggression, while the Sustainiac neck pickup with dedicated on/off and mode-selection mini switches enables feedback and sustain effects ranging from ambient to chaotic. Master volume and tone controls round out a configuration built for both studio precision and live performance.
