The Spira J-400 Baritone adopts the comfortable "offset" design typical of the J-series while venturing into deeper sonic territory. Designed for musicians exploring heavier genres and down-tuned settings, it delivers a powerful low-end response while maintaining the clarity required for modern metal and progressive rock. Its roasted poplar body is paired with a roasted maple neck and an Ebony Tech fretboard, providing a stable, responsive platform with a smooth, modern feel. The 24 jumbo frets ensure excellent playability across the entire neck. The extended 27-inch baritone scale length increases string tension and clarity, keeping down-tuned settings precise, focused, and well-defined.
